About Netravali Forest
Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary in the southern foothills of Goa is an ancient forest named after the Netravali River that rushes through its valleys. The sanctuary is known for the Savari waterfall and the mysterious 'Bubble Lake' — a natural spring that releases bubbles of carbon dioxide — giving the forest a slightly otherworldly character. Dense semi-evergreen vegetation and remote river valleys provide excellent habitat for Indian pythons, leopards, and a rich community of endemic amphibians.
