About Neora Valley

Neora Valley National Park in the Kalimpong hills is one of West Bengal's least visited but most biodiverse parks, sheltering a critically important population of red pandas. The park's mixed broadleaf forest transitions to rhododendron groves and bamboo thickets at higher elevations — perfect habitat for the red panda. The park's cloudforest is also one of the finest bird habitats in the eastern Himalayas.
