About Kudremukh

Kudremukh National Park is one of the most important patches of Shola-grassland ecosystem in the Western Ghats UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park's rolling montane grasslands and evergreen forests receive some of India's highest rainfall, feeding three major river systems. The lion-tailed macaque, one of the world's rarest primates, finds sanctuary in the dense canopy.
